Jim was born and raised in Waterloo Region. He attended public school in Wellesley, high school in Elmira and graduated from the Canadian School of Embalming, Toronto, 1968. He has been at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home for 37 years, and a partner for nearly 30 years. Jim and his wife Marianne (Schmidt) are the proud parents of 3 sons; Michael, David and his wife Leanne Baer, Rudy Vincent and Brandi Barens and 4 wonderful grandchildren, Katie, Jacquie, Cecilia and James. Jim has been involved in numerous community organizations and interfaith initiatives. Marianne and Jim are active members of Erb Street Mennonite Church in Waterloo.

DAVID ERB, Owner & Funeral Director

David was born on December 29, 1977 to Jim and Marianne Erb and has 2 brothers Robert and Michael. He grew-up in Kitchener-Waterloo and was involved in numerous sports including skiing, hockey, baseball, and soccer while attending Alexander, Empire and Centennial Public Schools as well as W.C.I. In 2002, Dave married Leanne Baer at Silver Lake Mennonite Camp, where they met 10 years prior as campers. In October 2004, Dave and Leanne were blessed with birth of their daughter Cecilia Maredith Erb. Both Dave and Leanne attend and are actively involved at Erb Street Mennonite Church, Waterloo. Dave serves on the board of several organizations including MennoHomes (an affordable housing initiative of the Mennonite Church) as well as the Canadian Group of Independent Funeral Homes.

MARK ERB, Funeral Director

Born in Kitchener, raised in Wellesley Ontario. Mark started his career in funeral service with Futher Bros. Funeral Home in Wellesley. Since 1982, has been employed with the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home. Mark lives in Elmira with his wife Shelley (Foerster) and their two daughters Kimberly and Stephanie. He enjoys hockey, baseball and volunteers his time coaching hockey.

PAUL GOOD, Owner & Funeral Director

Born in Stouffville ON, Paul came to Waterloo with his parents Edward and Rhea in 1946. They lived above the funeral home and attended Alexandra School, Waterloo and graduated from W.C.I. Paul joined the funeral home in 1965 after graduating from the Canadian School of Embalming. Paul is married to Sharon (Orth) with three children; Cheryl (Rob) McKean, Heather Good, and Steven Good. Paul is a member and elder of Grace Lutheran Church, Kitchener, past president of Central Ontario Funeral Service Association, and has been involved with the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce for over 30 years. Paul enjoys K-W Oldtimers hockey, skiing, golfing, sailing, and fishing.

Steven is the 3rd generation of the Good family to serve the local community. Steven was born and raised in Waterloo where he attended W.C.I. Steven went on to graduate with honours from the Funeral Service and Business Management programs at Humber College in 1999 & 2000 respectively. In May 2006, Steven completed Firefighter training with passionate endeavors to continue to serve the community by joining the local full-time Fire Rescue team in the near future. Steven is currently involved part-time with the family business and actively part of Waterloo Fire Rescue as a student Firefighter. Steven enjoys volunteering his time teaching as a scuba divemaster, is an avid triathlete, mountain biker and golfer.

STEVEN BRUNTON, Funeral Director

Raised on a farm southwest of the village of Ayr, Waterloo Region, Steven spent his time shared between farm duties and rural activities. He went on to work several years in the farm machinery business before becoming a funeral director and joining the firm in 2005. Steven is actively involved in his hometown Ayr as a 20 plus year volunteer firefighter, 30 plus year member of the Ayr Paris Band, long time board member of Christ Anglican Church, Ayr. Steven and his wife Ann have two children, Jessica and Ian.

LAUREN BUGBEE, Funeral Director

Born in London, Ontario, Lauren came to the area in 1994, when her father, Rev. Robert Bugbee agreed to serve at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kitchener. She received her professional training at Humber College and served her internship through Jerrett Funeral Homes in Toronto. After graduating with honours, Lauren accepted a position with the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home. In her spare time she participates with the choir and Sunday school program of Holy Cross Church and serves as Secretary for Concordia Lutheran Mission Society of Canada.

Dan was born in Sarnia, Ontario and, after a family move, began his career as a funeral director in the small rural community of Rodney, at Padfield Funeral Home. After ten years of owning his own funeral home in Drayton, Ont., he moved back to Sarnia to continue his profession with Smith Funeral Home. Seventeen years later, he started at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, and continues to enjoy serving the community as a funeral director. Dan is happily married to Carolyn (for over 31years), and have two grown children, Joy and Jonathan.

GREG RAZSMANN, Funeral Director

Born in Listowel and raised on a farm near Monkton, Greg came to the Kitchener-Waterloo area in 1990. In 1994, he graduated from the University of Waterloo, Renison College, with a BA in Social Development Studies. He went on to graduate from the Funeral Service Program at Humber College in 1997 and trained at R.S. Kane in North York. Greg lives in Waterloo with his wife, Cynthia (nee Cybulski), their son, Adam and daughter, Sarah. He attends St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Waterloo with his family and volunteers his time on the Executive Board of Bereaved Families of Ontario - Waterloo Region.

Born in Yorkton Saskatchewan, Rob began his Funeral Service Career with Mcinnis and Holloway Funeral Homes in Calgary in 1993. During his apprenticeship program, he received his Funeral Director's and Embalmer's License through the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science under the care of the Alberta Funeral Service Association. Rob received the Professional Service Award at Graduation. After enjoying 10 years in Calgary, Rob and his wife Karen (nee Fedy) relocated to Kitchener where Karen was born and raised. They have two daughters, Rebecca and Isabella and enjoy all genres of music as well as spending time with their family. They are members of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Kitchener and Rob volunteers his time serving on the Executive of the Central Ontario Funeral Director's Association.

Paula has been employed with the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home since 1994. She also received her training at Humber College, and served her internship with Jerrett Funeral Homes in Toronto. Paula now resides in St. Agatha, where she is an active member of the community. She attends St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, and is a member of the Catholic Women's League.
